What a great post! I think of those love interests that spring from inside myself--the thing I think you're talking about here-- as a fire that can be carried in the back jeans pocket and always whipped out to warm myself at, wherever I may land. Also they're like portable food that only needs time and focus to nourish it--I'll never starve even when circumstances from the outside make my life a chilly, arid climate for a while. ... Those solid from-the-inside loves for me are writing poetry, playing piano (just got back on after 40 years, and I'm dreadful, but so what) and running. Thanks for helping me think about it & crystallize ideas!!

Honoured to share a blog entry with Hugh Jackman, I'm sure!

Evolution Revolution - love it. And we need it. Right now the world needs us all to rise to be the best possible version of ourselves. If my life change was a mid-life crisis, then I highly recommend it and think that everybody should have one!

Having someone to miss is wonderful. Having a challenging career ahead is wonderful too. I have both, which makes the coffee I am drinking while sitting in a Starbucks taste even better. I will enjoy, embrace, and cherish the process, no matter what the outcome would be.

I have found a passion in blogging and reading other blogs. This is new for me and I am loving it. I used to want to write novels or movie scripts, but I just didn't enjoy doing it. I used to want to paint and draw, but felt frustrated by it. Now I am writing a humorous blog about my life and a religious blog about my God and I can't wait to get up in the morning and work on them.

And you are right, I don't need anyone else to make me happy about it. I don't need anyone to read them or give me praise; I just love doing it.

I forget what you said. i wiill remember. Of yes, it is about identify. You first, the rest of the world later. or is it the other way around? both good, but both a different philosophy.

a lot of us spend each day reacting, and not applying our philosophy because we react. instead, we should be proactive.

conservative, or frisky? should it depend on the mood. why not?

I prefer conservative because it is easier. do you? do you wish you were frisky? why aren't you?

you are right, find yourself. that is key. those who have, make big differences. others who haven't make big differences too, but sometimes by accident.

those who find themselves continue to make big differences. the others do not.

conquer the hairpins in your journey down the mountain stages of life. have no fear, lance has been there. think of his courage, and find your own. think of your own courage, and impart it to others. plunge deep into the valley of your fears, and find peace with the outcomes. you are in control, and if you are not, why worry about it anyway when you could be drinking champage in Texas.
